1978-1980 - scientific and pedagogical work was begun at Moscow Higher Technical University named after Bauman N.E. (MVTU) as a trainee-researcher. In 1980 - graduate student of Metallurgy Institute named after A.A.Baykov, Academy of Sciences of the USSR, Moscow. The dissertation is related to studies of crack resistance of damping alloys obtained by powder metallurgy methods. The results of the study were used for the needs of Military Industrial Complex (MIC) of the USSR. After graduating and successfully defending candidate’s dissertation it was job at Kazakh Polytechnic Institute (KazPTI) as a senior lecturer, assistant professor and professor of the department. In 2001 - a postgraduate student by doctoral program at Abay Kazakh National Pedagogical University, where the topic of doctoral dissertation dedicated to problems of technical education in modern conditions was developed. In 2003-2005- concurrently a senior researcher in the laboratory of metal science of Metallurgy and Enrichment Institute of NAS RK. In 2005-2006 it was passed one-year language internship at Anglia Politech University, Cambridge, UK. In 2008-2011 - assistant professor at Kazakh-British University (KBTU) in Chemical Engineering department, where such disciplines as «Anticorrosion protection of oil equipment», «Physical-chemical methods of research» were developed in English. In 2009-2012 - part-time senior researcher at the Institute for Strategy and Development of Education of Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Kazakhstan (APSK); full member (academician) of APSK; the member of the Council for Comparative Education of APSK. The author of two textbooks (approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan), four textbooks, and a number of educational and methodological aids. Over 100 scientific articles have been written, including those indexed in the SCOPUS, Thomson Reuters databases and published in publications from far abroad (Israel, France, Bulgaria, Slovenia) and neighboring countries, as well as reports at international and national conferences. The developer of State Obligatory Education Standards of the RK for graduate and doctoral studies by "Materials Science and Technology of New Materials" specialty; for doctoral studies by "Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology" specialty. There is extensive experience in the development of curricula and training programs. One of the developers of master's programs at SCOU (University of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization), specializing in Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology. In different years - chairman of the Scientific and Methodological Council of the institute, the member of dissertation councils for the defense of candidate and doctoral dissertations (by "Metal Science and Technology of Heat Treatment of Metals", "Theory and Methodology of Professional Education" specialties and currently by "Metallurgy" and materials science” specialty). Scientific supervisor of a number of theses of bachelors, undergraduates and doctoral students; the advisor of undergraduates and doctoral students and currently of the bachelors. During the years of the work at KazNITU, a number of the courses of different engineering and metallurgical disciplines, including copyright courses at the junction of scientific and pedagogical areas for doctoral training were worked out.
Areas of scientific research are: assessment of structural strength of materials from the point of crack formation; nanostructured materials and technologies for their production; methodological and methodological issues of engineering education. scientific activity was carried out in frameworks of scientific projects. Accordingly that there were implemented as responsible executor educational project by the development of professional standards for the system of technical and vocational education (2009-2011); scientific and technical project under an agreement with KBTU by the topic "Technology for producing nanostructures in metal melts for hardening aluminum alloys" (2010); as scientific supervisor the grant project of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dedicated to the system of postgraduate training for technical education (2012-2014). Currently, is an executor of Commercialization Project of the Science Foundation of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan and KazNITU by the topic "Creating of a pilot production of innovative aluminum alloys from domestic raw materials and finished products with a nanostructured protective ceramic coating from them".
