В настоящее время занимает должность ГНС лаб.региональной гидрогеологии и геоэкологии
В мае 2013 года избран член-корреспондентом Национальной Академии наук РК по Отделению наук О Земле.
2005-2009гг преподавал нефтегазовую гидрогеологию и геоэкологию студентам Казахскстанско-Британского ТехническогоУниверситета
2000-2003гг-Главный ученый секретарь НАН РК
1988-1999гг зав. лабораторией и Ученого секретаря Института гидрогеологии и гидрофизики АН КазССР
1960 – 1987гг В науке прошел последовательно путь от ст. лаборанта до ведущего научного сотрудника
По распределению был направлен в Академию наук КазССР – Институт геологических наук в Отдел гидрогеологии и инженерной геологии. Свою трудовую деятельность начал в Секторе гидрогеохимии.
Образование
1997г. защитил докторскую диссертацию на тему «Теоретические и методические основы гидрогеологического прогноза и поисков месторождений нефти и газа, промышленных, термальных и минеральных вод подсолевых отложений Прикаспийской впадины» по специальности Гидрогеология - 25.00.07.
1974г.защитил кандидатскую диссертацию по теме: «Гидрогеология восточной прибортовой части Прикаспийской впадины» по специальности 04.00.06 «Гидрогеология»
1960 г. окончил геолого-разведочный факультет Казахского Горно-Металлургического института по специальности «Гидрогеология и инженерная геология»
Научные проекты
«Оценка ресурсов пресных подземных вод, как основного источника и долгосрочного резерва устойчивого питьевого водообеспечения населения Республики Казахстан».
Тепло-энергетический, минерально-сырьевой и лечебно-оздоровительный потенциал термоминеральных и промышленных подземных вод Казахстана. Оценка состояния и тенденций изменения гидрогеохимических показателей подземных вод под влиянием природно-климатических изменений и антропогенных нагрузок.
