Master Programme in Eco-Mining and Innovative Natural Resources Management
The Erasmus+ project “Master's Program on Eco-Mining Engineering and Innovative Management of Natural Resources (EMINReM)” is an international project to train master's students specializing in mining and processing of minerals in modern processing methods, optimization of industrial processes, sustainable development and reduction of environmental impact on nature.
The aim of the project is to improve the efficiency and environmental sustainability of mining operations through cooperation between partners and universities to train new generation specialists in environmental, economic and management achievements in the field of mining and processing of natural resources. It is aimed at developing in future specialists interdisciplinary openness, the ability to understand technological issues systematically and deeply, to use tools for modeling and assessing potential environmental risks, and to mitigate them in our rapidly developing world. The MP in EMINReM will be created in response to current sustainability challenges and market needs.
The project supports the transfer of the most recent knowledge and best practices developed in the program countries (EUMS/APC) - DE, ES and TR, in the field of sustainable eco-construction to other non Erasmus+ program countries (NAPC) - UA, KZ and UZ, taking into account all the challenges that modern technological, economic and environmental standards and trends of the EU and countries require (e.g. European Green Deal, Industry 4.0, etc.). The educational programs involved in this project are complemented by disciplines dedicated to environmentally friendly methods of mineral processing, optimization of production processes and industrial waste management.
The duration of the project is 36 months (03.2023-02.2026)
