The department actively cooperates with leading industry representatives in the field of oil and gas chemical industries, and biotechnology. In order to continuously improve the program and students gain current knowledge and practical skills in working between the department, organizations and companies: Atyrau Oil Refinery LLP , Butadiene LLP , Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant LLP, "Kazakh Gas Processing Plant" LLP, TF " Amangeldiy Gas Processing Plant" LLP, Fluor company Corporation ", Tengizchevroil LLP , Intergas Central Asia JSC , ShinLINE LLP , Fitoleum LLP . _ The department cooperates with the RSE “National Center of Biotechnology” of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the RSE “Institute of Plant Biology and Biotechnology”.

The department has extensive international connections with universities University of Lorraine (France), University of Reading (UK), Mahatma Gandhi University (India), Dicle University (Turkey), Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute (Uzbekistan), Baku State University (Azerbaijan).

Students and teachers undergo internships in foreign and domestic universities within the framework of international projects "Tempus", "Erasmus", "Newton-al-Farabi".

The department's laboratories are equipped with modern chemical-technological equipment, teaching aids, which are currently fully used in the scientific and educational process.
