AP22683343 "Improvement of decision-making methods when choosing geological and technical measures in a field with complex geological structures"

Relevance

The project is relevant in the context of a decrease in the natural productivity of Kazakhstan's oil fields. New effective approaches are needed to increase oil recovery, especially in formations with difficult geological conditions. The use of modern analysis methods and technologies, such as polymer displacement and ultrasonic exposure, opens up opportunities to increase the efficiency of the development of hard-to-recover reserves.

Purpose

Improving the efficiency of various types of geological and technical measures (MES), allowing for increased oil recovery in formations with difficult geological conditions.

Expected and achieved results

The works devoted to reducing the viscosity of oil are analyzed, and the choice of methods for increasing the effectiveness of their application is justified. The displacement of highly viscous oil by a polymer solution in a homogeneous reservoir has been experimentally carried out. The scientific novelty lies in the experimental proof of the effect of ultrasonic exposure on the filtration-capacitive and rheological properties of rocks and liquids; -the effectiveness of using a polymer solution to increase the oil recovery coefficient; -the influence of filtration and capacitance properties of rocks and relative phase permeability on fluid displacement during gravitational drainage of the formation, as well as in the representation of the efficiency and combined technology for increasing oil recovery of a layered heterogeneous formation based on intra-reservoir steam generation with injection of an alkali solution rim and technology for alternating injection of steam and water during oil displacement from the Karazhanbas field.
