AP23490633 "Extraction of associated valuable components from technological solutions in hydrometallurgical production"
Relevance
The economic efficiency of extracting valuable associated components by increasing resource productivity, protecting the environment, and cost-effective extraction of RM and REE from technological solutions from hydrometallurgical industries in demand on the global market creates favorable conditions for the commercialization of the results obtained.
Purpose
Development of an effective technology for the complex extraction of associated valuable components such as selenium, germanium, vanadium and REM from technological solutions of hydrometallurgical production with environmentally sound disposal of industrial waste.
Expected and achieved results
During the research, current technologies for extracting valuable by-products from technological solutions were analyzed. New data on the composition of by-products in uranium PSV solutions and ion-exchange resins were obtained, as well as insights into the behavior of these components in the solutions. Successful results were documented for the extraction of selenium and germanium from technological solutions, confirming the high efficiency of the developed technologies. Additionally, optimal sorbents and extractants for the extraction of these components were selected.
