RNNTD24RKI111-Access control systems for educational institutions
The Smart Lock project, which demonstrates advanced security solutions in educational institutions, provides scientific novelty in the field of electronic access control systems, which differs from traditional methods such as the use of keys or magnetic cards. One of the key scientific innovations of the project is the use of advanced radio frequency identification (RFID) technologies and contactless access cards using NFC technology. These cards contain unique codes that can be read by the Smart Lock system when presented, providing quick and efficient access. Unlike traditional keys, electronic cards are easy to manage, they are convenient to replace in case of loss, and they are not subject to physical wear. The integration of the project with Internet of Things (IoT) technologies is another scientific novelty. Smart Lock interacts with the central system via a network, which allows you to remotely control access and monitor events in real time. It also allows you to collect data to analyze the effectiveness of the system and plan maintenance. An additional aspect of scientific novelty is the interaction between Apple Wallet and other technological solutions of the Smart Lock project.
A secure and technologically advanced access control system can enhance the reputation of an educational institution by attracting students and staff. The integration of access control tools with alert and crisis management systems ensures effective evacuation and emergency response. The system can help protect the confidential data of students, staff and other stakeholders. The use of an access control system can help an institution comply with laws and regulations in the field of security and data protection. The ability to integrate with other information systems (for example, personnel management, student accounting) increases the efficiency of the institution's management.
