Professional biography
In 1997, he graduated from the Kazakh State Agrarian University, Faculty of Electrification of Agriculture, majoring in Power Supply and Electrification of Agriculture. He received the qualification of an electrical engineer.
In 2009, he completed his Master’s degree at the Kazakh National Agrarian University in the specialty Electric Power Engineering and was awarded the academic degree of Master of Technical Sciences.
In 2013, he completed doctoral studies at the Kazakh National Agrarian University. In 2014, he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the specialty 6D081200 – Energy Supply of Agriculture.
From 2004 to 2009, he worked as an assistant at the Department of Energy Supply and Automation of the Kazakh National Agrarian University. From 2009 to 2010, he served as Deputy Dean for Research at the Faculty of Energy and Information Systems of the Kazakh National Agrarian University. From 2014 to 2021, he held the position of Head of the Department of Energy Saving and Automation at the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University. From 2021 to 2025, he served as Head of the Department of Energy Supply, Electric Drive, and Electrical Engineering at the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev.
In 2025, by the decision of the Committee for Quality Assurance in the Sphere of Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, he was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor in the specialty Multidisciplinary Agricultural Sciences (Order No. 1290 dated July 28, 2025). Приказ председателя Комитета по обеспечению качества в сфере науки и высшего образования Министерства науки и высшего образования Республики Казахстан № 1290 от 28.07.2025 года.
He completed an internship for university leaders (top managers) of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of Research University at the Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule (RWTH) Aachen, Germany and Nazarbayev University (Astana) from June 27 to November 4, 2016.
In 2020, he was awarded the Certificate of Honor by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2024, he was awarded the badge of honor “Honored Power Engineer” by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Independent expert of the accreditation agency KazSEE.
Academic Secretary of the Dissertation Council at the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (2015–2021).
Reviewer of the journal Vestnik of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev, indexed in the National Database of the Committee for Quality Assurance in the Sphere of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
