About cooperation with Hacettepe University

On June 25, 2024, teaching staff of the Kazakh and Russian languages ​​ Department, attached to the Institute of Project Management named after Turkebayev E., represented by the head Uderbaev A., professor Odanova S., assoc. professor Demeubekova K., senior lecturers Dzhunusov T. and Satinbekova M. visited the Turkish Language Institute “Türk Dil Kurumu”, which is engaged in the Turkish language study and development in Ankara. The meeting of a creative and cognitive nature with linguists was held at a high level. Colleagues got acquainted with the latest published works of the research organization, discussed technical terminology’s issues in the Kazakh and Turkish languages, agreed on the future collaborative research and proposals for the dictionaries creating.

On June 26, 2024, department’s teaching staff also visited Hacettepe University, which is ranked among the top 700 universities in Turkey according to the QS World University Ranking. The meeting with the heads of the international department attached to the modern Turkish language faculty and the Turkish studies department resulted in a signed bilateral memorandum between the universities. Such cooperative activities as academic mobility, joint scientific research projects, advanced training, exchange of scientific and theoretical experience in language teaching, etc. were outlined. The scientists discussed the problems of contemporary Turkic linguistics, language teaching, and also collected the necessary materials in the university’s 24-hour library.
