Announcement of the preliminary defense of the doctoral dissertation of Sarsembayeva B.D.

At the K.I. Satpayev Kazakh National Research Technical University, Mining and Metallurgical Institute named after O.A. Baikonurov, at the Department of Materials Science, Nanotechnology and Engineering Physics, a pre-defense of the doctoral dissertation will be held: «Synthesis and investigation of silicon-carbon materials aimed at enhancing the electrochemical performance of anodes for lithium-ion batteries» in the specialty 6D071000 – “Material science and technology of new materials”.  

Scientific consultants:

1. Yerkezhan Yerdaulatovna Beisenova (Domestic scientific supervisor) – PhD, Senior Researcher at the Laboratory of “Energy Materials and Technologies,” Institute of Combustion Problems, and Researcher at the Laboratory of Advanced Materials and Technology at KBTU, Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan.
2. Kydyr Askaruly (Domestic co-supervisor) – PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of “General Physics”, Satbayev University, Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan.
3. Muhammad Adil Mansur (Foreign Supervisor) – PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Chemistry, School of Natural Sciences, Head of Research at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), SNS-NUST, Islamabad.

The work was carried out at Satbayev University. The defense will be conducted in Kazakh language.

The seminar will take place on April 17, 2026, at 11:00 at the Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K. I. Satpayev, O. A. Baikonurov Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, Department of “Materials Science, Nanotechnology and Engineering Physics”.
