Relevance

The relevance of the work lies in the need to develop effective solutions for strengthening mountain ranges, especially in conditions of domestic ore deposits prone to deformations and collapses. Such processes can endanger the safety of workers and increase mining costs. The development of a protective shield made of fiberglass elements and polymers will increase the strength and stability of arrays, reduce the cost of sinking and improve working conditions in the mining industry, which makes this research relevant and important for domestic mining enterprises.

Purpose

The purpose of the work for 2024 is to develop and substantiate the design of a protective shield made of fiberglass elements in combination with polymers by creating mathematical and finite element models that allow analyzing the mechanical characteristics of the rock mass and calculating the bearing capacity of the protective shield.

Expected and achieved results

 

The study includes a constructive analysis of a protective screen made of fiberglass elements and polymers based on theoretical analysis and preliminary tests. The creation of a mathematical model of the rock mass will be carried out using analytical and numerical methods. Verification of the models will be carried out through laboratory tests for strength and viscosity. The influence of factors such as temperature and pressure on the behavior of materials will also be analyzed. The test results will be compared with existing data, which will determine the novelty of the proposed solutions.
