Relevance

The cost of new nonionic, anionic and cationic surfactants synthesized from available raw materials - the residue of sunflower oil production (a mixture of technical fatty acids), will be 10-20% cheaper than foreign (imported) analogues.

Purpose

Synthesis and development of technology for the production of new environmentally safer surfactants based on raw materials of plant origin, which can be used as components of detergents and cleaning agents, stabilizers of dispersed systems, foaming agents, flotation reagents, biocidal compounds and for other purposes.

Expected and achieved results

New nonionic surfactants (NIPAAS) were first obtained by reacting a mixture of fatty carboxylic acids isolated from the residue of sunflower oil production with ethylene glycol and its derivatives (diethylene glycol (DEG), triethylene glycol (TEG), polyethylene glycol-300 (PEG-300), polyethylene glycol-600, polyethylene glycol-1000 (PEG-1000) and diethanolamine (DEA)), New anionic surfactants were synthesized by esterification of synthesized nonionic surfactants with maleic and itaconic anhydrides, followed by sulfonation of unsaturated dicarboxylic acids with sodium sulfite. A new cationic surfactant was synthesized by reacting a mixture of fatty carboxylic acids with N,N-dimethylaminopropylamine and N-methyldiethanolamine.
