AP22788736 "A synthesis and research foundation for polyampholytes as ionic polymers for energy storage systems"
Relevance
Energy storage systems are becoming critical components for the sustainable development of the energy sector, especially with the increasing use of renewable energy sources and electric vehicles. Enhancing the efficiency and reliability of these systems requires new materials and technologies. Polymers, including polyampholytes, present a promising avenue for energy storage, though their properties and applications are not yet fully explored. The relevance of this project lies in the in-depth research of the synthesis and utilization of polyampholyte-based polymer electrolytes to improve energy storage systems.
Purpose
The aim of the project is to develop the scientific foundations for the synthesis of highly charged polymer electrolytes based on polyampholytes for energy storage systems, followed by a study of their physico-chemical, mechanical, rheological and electrically conductive properties.
Expected and achieved results
Successful implementation of the project may help develop a new approach for synthesizing and studying polyampholyte-based electrolytes for advanced energy storage systems. This could result in the formation of a new energy storage cluster in Kazakhstan and find practical applications in battery technologies
