АР19679049 "Thermodynamic and radiative properties of dense degenerate plasma"
Relevance
The relevance of this project lies in an in-depth study of the interaction of hydrogen-like ions with quantum plasma, which contributes to a better understanding of the spectral characteristics of ionized substances at high temperatures. The results of the work can be useful for theoretical and experimental research in the field of plasma physics, as well as for improving models describing the processes of ionization and excitation of hydrogen atoms. The study of nonlinear dependences of spectral line displacement and their dependence on plasma density opens up new prospects for further scientific developments in the field of astrophysics and thermonuclear research.
Purpose
The aim is to study the characteristics of spontaneous emission of hydrogen-like ions in a quantum plasma and to determine the characteristics of inelastic collisions.
Expected and achieved results
The characteristics of spontaneous emission of hydrogen-like ions in a quantum plasma are studied, including the displacement of the spectral lines of the Lyman and Balmer series (α, β, γ) in the temperature range from 0.3 to 1.2 eV for various plasma concentrations. It is shown that as the temperature increases, the displacement of the Lyman series lines decreases, and the temperature dependences are almost linear for all densities. It is revealed that the displacement of the Ha line from the density in the quantum plasma is nonlinear, which contrasts with the expected linear dependence. Calculations of the excitation and ionization cross sections of a hydrogen atom during an electron impact have also been performed, showing that the 1s → 2s and 1s → 2p transitions depend on the density and temperature of the plasma. The data obtained can contribute to the further development of theoretical and experimental research in the field of plasma physics, clarifying the influence of plasma conditions on spectral characteristics and ionization processes.
