Professional biography

Zaurbekov Kadyrzhan Seitzhanovich was born on October 9, 1995 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. He graduated from Lyceum №134 with a degree in Computer Mathematics. In 2017 he graduated with honors from our university with a Bachelor's degree in Oil and Gas Engineering with a GPA - 3.93, in 2019 he graduated with honors from the Master's program and in 2022 he completed his doctoral studies with honors with a GPA - 3.98. In 2023, he defended his doctoral dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy PhD in OP 8D07202 - Petroleum Engineering. He has the degree of Doctor of Philosophy PhD KazNITU named after Satpayev (Almaty, Kazakhstan). Date of defense 27.12.2023 Zaurbekov Kadyrzhan has been awarded three times with Chevron scholarship.

He is actively engaged in science:

From 2013 to 2014 he was a laboratory assistant on the research work №2.842.10 - "Open storage of sulfur at Tengiz", Satpayev University.

From 2015-2017, he was a laboratory assistant on R&D № 757.MON.GF.15.RIPR.46 - "Development of new methods of open storage of sulfur to reduce harmful impact on the environment", Satpayev University.

From 2018-2019 he was a junior researcher on R&D 2018/AR05133906 - "Creation of a new technology for collection of high-viscosity oils in barns and filling places using ultrasonic devices", Satpayev University.

During 2020, he was a junior researcher of R&D No. 2018/AR05135893 - "Multidisciplinary approach to optimization of oil steam-gravity drainage using geomechanical calculations and well location changes", Satpayev University.

From 2021-2023 was a researcher of the theme IRN AP09261282 GF - "Increase of pump life of sucker rod well pumping units".Satpayev University.

Author of 37 scientific papers, 3 Scopus, and 6 patents and 1 textbook. From 2020 to 2022 was a tutor of the department "Petroleum Engineering". From 2022 to 2023, he was a lecturer in the Department of Petroleum Engineering. From 2023 to the present time he is a senior lecturer of "Petroleum Engineering" department, Institute of Geology, Petroleum and Mining Engineering, "Satbayev University".

Direction of scientific researches: oil recovery enhancement of high-viscosity oil fields by thermal methods of influence (CSS,SAGD, VAPEX). Skills in the following programs: 3D Max, Eclipce, Petrel.

Readable disciplines: 1. Introduction to specialty; 2. Fluid and Gas Mechanics; 3. Oil and Gas Engineering Seminar. 4. Hydrodynamic well testing. 5. Offshore field development. 6. Multidisciplinary project design and others.

Characterized as an executive, proactive, competent, responsible specialist in the oil and gas industry. English language skills at Upper Intermediate level. IELTS - 5.5. (2019-2022).
