Contest for the vacant position of Board Member of the First Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Strategic Development at Non-profit Joint-Stock Company “Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satbayev”

Board of Directors at Non-profit Joint Stock Company “Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satbayev”, 050040, Almaty city, Satbayev str., 22, announces a contest for the vacant position of Board Member of the First Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Strategic Development at Non-profit Joint Stock Company “Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satbayev”, located at: Almaty city, Satbayev str., 22.

The main subject of activity is the provision of educational services in the field of higher, postgraduate, technical and professional, post-secondary and additional education.

The purpose of the activity is to create the necessary conditions for obtaining the high-quality education, training and teaching aimed at formation, advancement and professional development of a personality based on national and universal values, achievements of science and practice, as well as for evolving the scientific potential and commercializing the elaborations.

Requirements for the contest participants:

1.1 higher and postgraduate education;

1.2 work experience in senior positions in educational organizations and (or) authorized bodies in relevant fields for at least 3 years and/or graduate of “Bolashak” program in Master's or Doctorate program.

1.3 Knowledge and skills:

1) knowledge of the regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan regulating the relations in the areas corresponding to the specialization of the position;

2) fluency in Kazakh, Russian and English.

3) knowledge of the basic principles of management in education sphere;

4) skills in strategic planning and digitalization of business processes;

5) effective communication and negotiation skills.

An individual that is not eligible to participate in the contest:

1) under twenty-five years of age;

2) previously committed a corruption offense;

3) having an outstanding or undelivered criminal record

4) registered in special medical institutions;

5) other cases provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The person applying for participation in the contest submits the following documents:

1) application in the form according to Appendix 5;

2) a copy of the identity document of the contest participant;

3) the track record of the contest participant with a 3x4 color photo in the form according to Appendix 6;

4) University development program;

5) copies of educational documents and appendices to them with submitting the originals for verification:

copies of educational documents received by citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan in foreign educational institutions are accompanied by copies of certificates of recognition or nostrification of these educational documents issued by the authorized body in  education sphere, with the exception of educational documents issued by foreign higher educational institutions, research centers and laboratories to citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan - holders of "Bolashak" international scholarship, as well as those subject to an international treaty (agreement) on mutual recognition and equivalence;

copies of educational documents issued to the holders of "Bolashak" international scholarship are accompanied by a copy of the certificate of completion of studies on RK President’s "Bolashak" international scholarship issued by the joint-stock company "Center for International Programs" under Master's or Doctorate program;

copies of educational documents subject to an international treaty (agreement) on mutual recognition and equivalence are accompanied by copies of certificates of recognition of these educational documents issued by the authorized body in education sphere;

6) a copy of the document confirming employment, certified by the personnel service at the place (current or last) of work;

7) medical certificate of health (medical professional advisory opinion) in form # 075/u, issued no more than six months before the date of submission of documents;

8) a certificate from a neuropsychiatric organization issued no more than one year before the date of submission of documents, in accordance with the legislation on public services;

9) a certificate from a drug treatment organization issued no more than one year before the date of submission of documents in accordance with the legislation on public services;

10) a document confirming the absence of a ban on holding office in accordance with criminal law.

Acceptance of documents for participation in the competition is carried out within 7 (seven) working days from the date of the announcement’s publication, until 18:00 on February 05, 2024.

The date and place of the contest will be announced additionally. The above documents must be submitted to Non-profit Joint Stock Company "K.I.
