A personal heart monitoring device developed at Satbayev University can serve the state task of preventing cardiovascular diseases
The portable cardioanalyzer (PCA) is designed to diagnose the condition of the heart in conditions of free motor activity of the patient and consists of an electrocardiosignal recorder (ECS) with external sticky electrodes, a microprocessor and a module for working with mobile networks, as well as a distributed computer diagnostic system (CDS) server on which the ECS is analyzed.
The main task is to register the electrocardiosignal (ECS) using a portable device for a long time during the patient's normal lifestyle (free activity) and prevent cardiovascular diseases.
Thanks to daily monitoring of the heart, it is possible to identify or prevent the development of the following diseases of the cardiovascular system:
• arrhythmia (heart rhythm disorders);
• angina pectoris;
• coronary heart disease.
