AP13068313 Development of a new design of a modular wind turbine with a fixed vertical axle
Relevance
|
Wind energy is currently in increasing demand in the world, since it is environmentally friendly, autonomous and, taking into account the stable rise in the price of fossil fuels, the cost of wind energy is becoming more and more competitive. Among WTs, turbines with a vertical axis of rotation are of great interest. These schemes have been known for a long time, but their use is hindered by the presence of a long vertical shaft. The difficulty is the manufacture of such a shaft (length more than 50 diameters) and its installation. The cost of WTs is also significantly determined by the cost of the shaft. To solve this problem, it is proposed to use a fixed axle in the WT on which the bushings are attached to which the rotor is attached, the rotation of the bushings is transmitted to the generator through the gear pair. The production of such a scheme will be technologically simpler and cheaper. For the implementation of WTs, the principle of modularity can be applied, it will be collected it from modules. Such a scheme will greatly simplify the transportation of the WT and its installation on site. |
Purpose
|
Design, calculation and manufacture of a new design of an MWT with a power of 3 kW with a simplified manufacturing technology. |
Expected and achieved results
|
Expected results: Practical results will be obtained, the operating 3 kW MWT will be designed and tested, ready for trial operation in real conditions. The research results will be published as: - at least two articles and (or) reviews in peer-reviewed scientific journals in the scientific direction of the project, indexed in the Science Citation Index Expanded of the Web of Science database and (or) having a CiteScore percentile in the Scopus database of at least 35; - at least one article or review in a peer-reviewed foreign or domestic publication recommended by CCSES.
Аchieved results: 1. A computer model was created and design documentation was developed for a new modular wind turbine. 2. Design documentation and technical specifications for the manufacture of a modular wind turbine were transferred to an industrial enterprise. Parts of a wind turbine have been manufactured. The manufactured parts were assembled into modules. |
