Logvinenko Aleksandr Valerievich

Professional biography

Logvinenko Alexander graduated from KazNTU named after. K.I. Satpayev in 2010, majoring in Oil and Gas Engineering. From 2010 to 2012 studied at the Master's program at the University of Lorraine, Nancy (France), specializing in “Underground formations of energy resources: geology, hydrodynamics and modeling.” In 2015, he completed his doctoral studies at KazNTU in the specialty “Oil and Gas Engineering”. In the same year, he began his career as a teacher at the Department of Oil and Gas Field Development. Since 2016, he has held the position of senior lecturer at the Petroleum Engineering department. Alexander Logvinenko has repeatedly received scholarships from Chevron and Kazenergy companies. In 2011, he personally received a Nazarbayev scholarship from the head of state. In 2017, he received a grant for scientific research from the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy. He is a finalist of the Petroquantum International Accelerator Competition for Innovative Oil and Gas Projects. Completed an introductory internship at Shell Kazakhstan. In 2019, as part of the “Stimulating Productive Innovation” project, he received a grant to support research and training of postdoctoral students (PhD). Completed a one-year scientific internship at Pennsylvania State University, USA. Takes an active part in scientific projects. Currently, he is a senior complex employee of the Kazakh Institute of Oil and Gas JSC, where he is exclusively involved in CO2 capture and storage projects. Concurrently, he is a senior lecturer at the Petroleum Engineering Department.
