Professional biography

Professor of the department of СP&IE. Doctor of technical sciences, professor.

1984-1989 - junior researcher at the Institute of Organic Catalysis and Electrochemistry.

1989-2002 - at K.Satbayev KazNTU : scientific secretary of the research department (1989-1993), as sociate professor of the general chemistry department, deputy dean of the technological faculty.

 2002-2014 - at the Kazakh-British Technical University: head of the applied chemistry department, associate professor, head of the educational and methodological center of KBTU, director of the scientific and educational center of chemical engineering, professor.

2010-2012 -   Deputy Generale Director  of the D.V.Sokolsky Institute of Fuel, Catalysis and Electrochemistry, and from 2012 to 2022 - Chief Researcher

2015-2019 - Chief researcher, head of the Research and organizational department at the "Institute of High Technologies" of NAC "Kazatomprom".

Research interests: resource-saving technologies of utilization and recycling of natural and man-made raw materials into valuable multifunctional products, environmentally friendly technologies and synthesis of sulfur-, organophosphorus compounds (promising extractants and sorbents of heavy metals) and lithium, polymersulfur composites for the production of lithium-sulfur energy storage devices, extraction and sorption processes of valuable RM and REM, green biofuel technologies based on renewable raw materials.

39 years of scientific and pedagogical experience. Head of a number of research projects of the  MES GF of the RK  and NATD of RK. The author of more than 170 publications, including 14 patents of the RK, 1 monograph, 4 educational materials. Research supervisor of 4 candidates of science, 6 masters and 2 PhDs. Winner of the title of "Best University Teacher" of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
