Professional biography
A water engineer with more than 30 years of experience. He worked from 1993 to 1996 as a trainee teacher, then as an assistant at the Kazakh State Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering, while simultaneously holding a teaching position. From 1994 to 1996, he worked as a manager, then as a commercial director of the BRON company. From 2000 to 2003, he worked as a senior lecturer at the Kazakh State Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering. From 2003 to 2004, he worked as Deputy Director of ABC Kurylys-Service LLP. From 2004 to 2005, he worked as an associate professor at the Kazakh National Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering. From September 2005 to 2015, he worked at the Department of Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology of the Kazakh National Technical University named after K.I.Satpayev as an associate professor, including from 2009 to 2011 he held the position of deputy director.From 2014 to 2015, he was an expert in evaluating grant applications of the Center for Technology Commercialization LLP, a subsidiary of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Since 2019, he has been an expert of the AEOC Expert Commission for conducting Public Environmental Assessments of water supply and sanitation facilities.
Over the years, he has completed scientific and pedagogical internships, including in 2012 he completed a research internship at the Water Center of the Warsaw University of Natural Sciences, Poland and in 2013 and 2014 he completed a research internship at the Bialystok Technical University, Poland.
He is the author of more than 110 scientific papers, including those indexed in the Scopus-13 and Web of science – 11 databases, as well as 8 patents, 1 textbook, 2 monographs, and textbooks.
