Professional biography
In 1968 he graduated from Kazakh secondary school No. 51 in the village . Zhanakurgan of the Kyzyl-Orda region with a silver medal.
From 2001 to 2017 – Professor, Head of the Department of Mechanics, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Al Farabi Kazakh National University.
Since 2017, Director of the Institute of Industrial Engineering, then Head of the Department of Applied Mechanics and Engineering Graphics of KazNTU named after K.Satbayev.
Visiting Professor from 2009 to 2017, AGH-Krakow University of Science and Technology of Poland, in 2011 and 2012 – the National Polytechnic Institute of Lorraine of France.
The field of scientific activity is fluid mechanics, computational fluid dynamics, physico–chemical hydrogas dynamics, renewable energy sources, metal mining by underground chemical and bacterial leaching.
In 1995-2004, with the financial support of the Governments of Germany and Japan, he conducted: for 14 months, studies of flame propagation in the combustion chamber through a methane-air mixture at low Mach numbers at Heidelberg University and for 10 months, studies of the mechanism of transition of conventional combustion of a hydrogen-air mixture into detonation in a pipe at Nagoya University. Together with Professor M. Panfilov from the University of Lorraine of France, in 2010, the Kazakh-French Geoenergy Center was founded at Al Farabi Kazakh National University for double-degree education in master's and doctoral studies, which by 2020 has trained about 100 masters and 6 Ph.D.s.
He has trained 14 Ph doctors.
"The best teacher of the University of Kazakhstan" for 2005 and 2010.
"The best researcher" for 2021.
More than 30 articles have been published in journals belonging to WoS and Scopus with a total impact factor of more than 60. Co-author of 5 patents for inventions and 7 copyright certificates for software. H-index -11 by Scopus.
Education
In 1973 he graduated from the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty of S.M. Kirov Kazakh State University with a degree in Mechanics.
From 1973 to 1975 he served in the Soviet Army.
From 1975 to 2000 – postgraduate student, engineer, MNS, SNS, senior professor, associate Professor of the Department of Mechanics of KazGU, then Al Farabi KazNU.
