Professional biography
Nasibullin Bauyrzhan Muratovich is a senior lecturer at the Petroleum Engineering department with more than 20 years of experience.
Graduated from KazNTU named after. K.I.Satpayev in 1996, majoring in “Development and Operation of Oil and Gas Fields” (RENGM), qualification: mining-oil engineer.
From 1996 to 2020, he taught at the Department of Petroleum Engineering at the country’s leading technical universities (Kazakh National Technical University named after K.I. Satpayev, Kazakh-British Technical University (KBTU)), as well as at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
In 2011, he completed his master’s degree in specialty 6M070800 – “Oil and Gas Engineering” at KBTU.
From 2012-2015, he studied at the doctoral program at KBTU, specializing in “Nanomaterials and nanotechnologies” (by areas of application). Currently he is completing his doctoral work on the topic “Development of technology for waterproofing the bottom-hole zone of an oil reservoir using gel-forming cement materials and nanoclay.”
In 2009, together with the staff of the MHI department of KBTU at Heriot-Watt University in Scotland, he completed an internship in the master's program.
In February 2011, in connection with an agreement between KBTU and the Tengizchevroil company (TCO), he was on an internship at the Tengiz oil and gas field in the Atyrau region.
Participated in the development of test items in the discipline “Technology and Engineering of Oil and Gas Production” for the National Testing Center of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and worked on the appeal commission of the magistracy of the National Testing Center of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2010-2015 conducted trainings and seminars with field visits for support, technical and engineering staff of national oil and gas companies;
Has certificates: Certificate “Hydrodynamic Simulation in ECLIPSE Blackoil (base and advanced level)” 72 academic hours, Almaty June 2023, Satbayev University.
Author and co-author of more than 30 scientific papers, 4 patents, 1 electronic textbook, 1 textbook and translation of 1 textbook. He was a co-author in the compilation of the Russian-Kazakh terminological dictionary “Munay zhane gas onerkasibinin oryssha - Kazakh tusindirme terminder sozdigi”.

3. Scientific research is devoted to the issues of rational and integrated development of subsoil in the development of oil and gas fields, methods of increasing oil recovery; technologies for maintaining reservoir pressure and increasing the flow rate of oil wells; methods for reducing water cut in oil field wells.
