Over the years, he worked as a Leading Production Engineer at Akrikhin CJSC (Moscow), a Leading Researcher at the Institute of Chemical Science named after A. B. Bekturova, Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering and Director of the Scientific and Educational Center for Chemical Engineering (REC HI) of the Kazakh-British Technical University.
In 2004 he defended his thesis for the degree of Doctor of Chemical Sciences on the topic "Modified Alginate Hydrogels of Biomedical Purpose: Synthesis, Design, Properties and Application"
