Professional biography

Umyshev Dias is an associate Professor of Power Engineering department. He is actively involved in the scientific activities of the department, has several publications with impact factor and patents, speaks English at a good level. He is the only leading scientist in the department with a degree in Heat Power Engineering. Scientific activity. Umyshev Dias - Ph.D. in the specialty 6D071700 - "Heat Power Engineering", associate professor of "Power Engineering" department, has been conducting research work since 2014. The first direction is aimed at solving the problems of developing systems for burning gaseous and liquid fuels in gas turbine engines and installations. Based on the research results, new devices for burning gaseous and liquid fuels are proposed, including combustion chambers, gas burners, and heat generators. The second direction is the study and development of modern solar power plants (RES) based on Stirling engines. In this area, one application for a utility model and one application for an invention have been filed. In the process of writing articles for domestic and foreign magazines. The third area is the development and research of solid fuel preparation systems through microwave processing, which allows to reduce the concentration of harmful substances in the flue gases of boiler plants. An application for a utility model and articles is being prepared in this direction. June 28, 2017 Umyshev D.R. successfully defended his thesis on the topic: “Development and research of a gas turbine combustion chamber with reduced formation of toxic substances” for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in specialty 6D071700 - Heat engineering in the dissertation council of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and and Communications. Umyshev D.R. designed schemes for microflare burners, a dual-zone combustion chamber, and heat generators based on microflare fuel-burning devices that provide low emissions of toxic substances and solar generators based on Stirling engines have been developed. In 2019, he won the scholarship competition for young scientists.
