Professional biography
Vetlugina Galina Alexandrovna was born on September 5, 1947 in the village. Kant, Alamedin district, Republic of Kyrgyzstan.
In 1967, she entered the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the V.I.Lenin Kazakh Polytechnic Institute and graduated in 1972 with a degree in Heat and Gas Supply and Ventilation.
After graduation, she was left as an assistant at the Department of "Heat and Gas Supply and Ventilation" (TGIV) of KazPTI named after V.I. Lenin. In 1980, she was transferred to the newly organized Almaty Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering (AASI) as an assistant of the Department of "Heat and Gas Use".
In 1980, she was elected treasurer of the trade union committee of AASI –KAZGAS employees and worked until 2005. During these years, she did not interrupt her teaching activities, worked at the graduating department "Heat and gas supply, ventilation and protection of the air basin" as an assistant, senior lecturer, associate professor, assistant professor. She made a great contribution to the training of highly qualified personnel in the specialty "Heat and gas supply, ventilation and protection of the air basin".

She completed postgraduate studies at the Kazakh Polytechnic Institute named after V.I.Lenin in 1980.
Scientific projects
Participated in project work on the design of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems of cottages, administrative buildings, taking into account energy consumption and thermal protection of buildings, as well as with the development of methodological guidelines for the selection, installation and operation of commercial heat metering devices in heat supply systems for housing and communal services of the Republic of Kazakhstan. She worked as a contractor on contractual topics: "Development and research of contact gas water heaters", "Development of highly efficient dryers in the food industry". Provides consultations on the design and operation of heat and gas supply and ventilation systems. Performs thermal engineering calculations and energy passports of buildings, taking into account the thermal protection of buildings.
Publications
Author of more than forty scientific and methodological works, including 20 scientific articles and reports, 25 educational and methodological developments, including 3 textbooks, 12 educational and methodological complexes of disciplines and syllabuses in Russian.
