Results of the II stage of the Republican Subject Olympiad
At Satbayev University, the results of the annual republican Olympiad among students from across Kazakhstan were announced. The winners showcased their abilities impressively, and we wish them continued success in their professional endeavors!
According to the schedule of subject Olympiads approved by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Satbayev University held the II stage of the Republican subject Olympiad among students of higher educational institutions studying in the educational program "Geology and Exploration of Mineral Deposits" on May 3, 2024.
The subject Olympiad included questions on General Geology, Structural Geology, Crystallography, and Mineralogy.
According to the order of the Member of the Board - Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs R.K. Uskembaeva # 191-O dated April 26, 2024, the compositions of the jury and the appeals commission were approved. The winners of the II stage of the annual Republican Olympiad among students in 2024 are as follows:
1st place: Kseniya Larionova (D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan State Technical University)
2nd place: Sabina Shugaeva (Satbayev University)
2nd place: Daria Tsygankova (East Kazakhstan Technical University named after D. Serikbayev)
3rd place: Rakhat Tileukhan (East Kazakhstan Technical University named after D. Serikbayev)
3rd place: Dayana Masimova (Satbayev University)
3rd place: Aibolat Talgatbek (Satbayev University)
A total of 12 students from 4 universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan participated in the Olympiad:

2. Atyrau University of Oil and Gas named after Safi Utebayev
3. Caspian University of Technology and Engineering named after Sh.Yessenov
4. Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satpayev
