Professional biography

Ye. A. Altay began career in 2011 as a laboratory assistant, then senior laboratory assistant, engineer (2012), technical specialist (2013) at the scientific laboratory of the Kazakh Research Institute of Agriculture and Plant Growing, Almaty.

2015-2016 - Assistant of the Department of Robotics and Technical Automation Equipment of Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satpayev (currently Satbayev University), Almaty.

2016-2023 - Engineer at the Department of Control Systems and Informatics, then engineer, research engineer at the Faculty of Control Systems and Robotics at ITMO University, St. Petersburg.

Since 2024 - senior lecturer at the Department of Robotics and Automation Equipment, Institute of Automation and Information Technology, Satbayev University, Almaty.

Awards. Two-time winner of a scientific scholarship for research activities.

Participation in research work. Participant in 4 successfully completed scientific and scientific-technical projects and 1 completed project in the biological field.

Scientific interests: research into the reasons for the formation of the main factors influencing the accuracy of processing and analysis of measurement information (including electrical, biomedical and acoustic); searching and testing new approaches and filtering methods to improve the accuracy of signal information processing and analysis; mapping filter loci and searching for associations.

Education

In 2013, graduated from K. I. Satbayev Kazakh National Technical University,  instrument engineering

In 2015, graduated from the ITMO University, St. Petersburg.

In 2020, he completed graduate school at ITMO University and defended scientific qualification thesis on the topic “Research and development of algorithms for ECG signals processing” in the scientific specialty “System analysis, control, information processing and statistics (in technical systems).”

In 2023, at ITMO University, defended a scientific qualification work for a candidate’s and PhD dissertation on the topic “Research and development of methods for acoustic emission signal processing ” in the scientific specialty “Methods and instruments for monitoring and diagnostics of materials, products, substances and the natural environment”
