Professional biography

Novitskaya Anna Alexandrovna – Senior Lecturer of the Department of Kazakh and Russian Languages

​​of the Institute of Project Management at Satbayev University.

Novitskaya A.A. began her career in 2015 as an English interpreter at the construction company in

Taldykorgan. Upon completion the programme of higher education and getting a bachelor's degree in

2016 she had two-year work experience at state secondary schools in Almaty and Almaty region as an

English teacher. Since graduating from the magistracy in 2020 to the present she works as a Senior

Lecturer at Satbayev University, the Department of Kazakh and Russian languages ​​of the Institute of

Project Management.

Teaching methods and technologies used in the learning process: student-centered learning based on a

reflective approach to learning on the part of the student; competence-based learning; communicative-

activity approach to mastering languages; understanding and interpretation of text meanings based on

cognitive modeling of its content and its context functioning; generation of texts of the required

intentionality and force of influence in the process of communication in various areas of communication;

role-playing games and educational discussions of various formats.

Novitskaya A.A. regularly attends advanced training courses, a frequent participant of scientific

conferences, forums, seminars etc. Professional interest of Novitskaya A.A. associated with the

methodology of teaching foreign languages, in particular with the development of communicative

competence and its components.

Bachelor’s academic degree in the field of Foreign language: two foreign languages (English, German) –

Methodology of teaching foreign languages. Now I’m writing an article about the role of speech etiquette in a discoursive competence formation.
