Professional biography

Orynbassarova E.O. enrolled in the Bolashak program at the University of Nottingham (Great Britain) and, in 2012, received a master's degree in Engineering Surveys and Geodesy.

In 2017, she completed an internship at the University of Nottingham with LTD Geomatic Ventures (England). She constantly improves her skills through various open-source resources, such as EDX, Coursera, ESRI. She is fluent in three languages: Kazakh, Russian, and English.

From 2012 to 2020, she worked at the International Educational Corporation (IEC) in the following positions: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Deputy Dean. While working at the IEC, she took an active part in the development of RUPS, OP, and the preparation of documents for accreditation.

In June 2020, she was appointed as the head of the Department of Surveying and Geodesy following a competitive selection process.

She has served as an expert on the Republican Commission and was a reviewer at the international conference ISPRS (International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing).

By the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 23, 2021, No. 600, concerning the awarding of nominal prizes in the field of science and state scientific scholarships for 2021, Orynbasarova E.O. was awarded a state scientific scholarship.
