The scientific activity of B. Rakishev is associated with the study of the physical and technological processes of mining, with the rational development of deposits and the integrated use of mineral raw materials. He is the scientific director of projects for state scientific, scientific and technical programs. On their basis, the theory of the destruction of the rock mass by the explosion was developed, the theory of the open development of mineral deposits was developed, new technologies for the explosive destruction of the rock mass, mining, mining of building rock blocks were proposed and introduced into production, the scientific basis for the geotechnological management of the quality of mineral raw materials was developed, computer-aided design of technological processes, resource-saving and environmental technologies for the development of complex multicomponent deposits.
