Professional biography
Satinbekova Meruert Mirkhadirovna – turkolog, Ph.D.
In 2011, she began her career as a methodologist at the research institute of Zhambyl Studies and Folk Poets of the KazNPU named after Abay.
2012-2014 worked as a senior researcher at this institute.
2014-2016 worked as a research fellow at the Institute of literature and art named after M. O. Auezov, first in the department of Ancient Literature, then in the department of Abay Studies and Modern Literature.
In 2019, during her 10-day scientific internshipto Baku, she visited the Folklore Department of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan and the National Library named after E. Akhundov, collected scientific materials.
In 2023, she completed doctoral studies at Hacettepe University in Turkey, specializing in Turkic studies.
Education
In 2009, she graduated from the faculty of philology of the Kazakh State Women's Pedagogical University with a bachelor’s degree in speciality of Kazakh language and literature. In the same year, she entered the master's program of this faculty and successfully completed it in 2011.
In 2010, she completed a month-long scientific internship at the faculty of philology of Istanbul University.
Scientific projects
Satinbekova Meruert was the executor of the following projects:
1. Author's oral literature and artistic reception (project leader, doctor of philology, professor Ibraim B.), project financed by the rector of the Abay University.
