Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mining engineer, scientist.
He rose from a junior researcher to the dean of the faculty, director of the mining and metallurgical institute, chairman of the board of directors, technical director of a mining company, professor. Scientific supervisor of economic contractual and state budgetary research projects, member of the Board of Directors of the "Kazakhstan Electrolysis Plant". Author of over 130 scientific and methodological works, including: mining and geological reference book, English-Russian-Kazakh mining and geological dictionary, 6 monographs.
He led the project team for the development of projects for the development of a number of fields. He was awarded the badges "Honorary Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan", "Kenshi Danky" I, II and III degrees, "Miner's Glory" I and III degrees (Russia), the jubilee medal "120 years since the birth of K. I. Satpayev". Deputy Editor-in-Chief of "Mining Journal of Kazakhstan", member of the editorial board of the journal "Industry of Kazakhstan", expert of the "Science Foundation" of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Member of the organizing committee of the annual international conference "Innovative Development of the Mining Industry" (Ukraine). Winner of the scholarship of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the best scientific work.
He worked as a member of the Presidium of the Committee for Control and Certification in Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Expert Council of the Committee for Control and Certification in Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Scientific projects
Kh. A. Yusupov has great achievements in scientific and production activities. He supervised the preparation and co-issuance of the necessary documents for the commissioning of a number of fields in Kazakhstan. He developed and put into production a number of new options for opening and development systems at the mines of JSC "Maykainzoloto", JSC " GCC "Ushger", LLP "Jargold", solved the issues of well decolmatization at PSV at uranium mines, proposed and used rational parameters of BWR. The research carried out under the supervision and with the direct participation of H. A.
