AP19576899 Development of composite materials based on magnetite and 2D nanostructures and their use for water purification and desalinization

Objective of the project:

The goal of the project is to develop and optimize composite materials based on magnetite and 2D nanostructures in order to create an effective system for water purification and desalinization . This project aims to explore the synergistic effects between magnetite and 2D nanomaterials such as graphene , graphene dioxide and others, with the aim of improving the adsorption and catalytic properties of the materials.

Relevance of the project:

The relevance of the project to develop composite materials based on magnetite and 2D nanostructures for water purification and desalinization is explained by several factors. The lack of accessible clean water is becoming an increasingly pressing problem in various regions of the world due to population growth, climate change and pollution of water sources. With increasing water pollution and the threat of fresh water shortages, the demand for innovative treatment and desalinization technologies that can provide safe drinking water is growing. Composite materials based on magnetite and 2D nanostructures promise to have high efficiency in water purification due to a combination of adsorption and catalytic properties. Their use can be more cost-effective compared to traditional cleaning methods. Thus, the development and use of composite materials based on magnetite and 2D nanostructures for water purification and desalinization is an important and promising area of research that makes a significant contribution to solving global problems of water supply and providing clean drinking water.
